So, my mom called me this morning telling me she backed into my truck (because my stupid self shouldn't have parked behind her car, she parks in the garage im outside) as i was opening the front door to go look at my truck, theres this really finicky puppy, i dont know how long she (or he, i still havent determined that yet) has been there. I have another dog, a 4 year old Beagle (girl), but shes outside at the moment and i dont want them near each other yet.

She/He, looks dirty, the dog has a white coat that looks like she/he has had contact with dirt. I dont know how young this dog is, but we gave her/him a doggie biscuit and some water. She/He seems really friendly, and seems to respond to the come here/go there command, and the nails are rather sharp/long. There is no collar on her....my brothers just told me her heart rate is really fast, but my guess is thats because shes just really scared.

I am already working on making posters, i dont know what else to do

You can take it too a vet or shelter and have them scan for a chip.

Not quite sure if shelters do it, but most all vets do. If it has a chip, they will be able to Id the owner

You can try craigslist and calling the shelters. Are there animal rescues where you are? Posters are a great idea! Thanks for posting the pic and good luck!!

It's not new, it's not Mexico
Assholes that abandon animals should be taken out to a wilderness area and left to fend for themselves! Thank you for trying to help this poor dog.

Should be fairly easy to figure out if it's a male or female...haha

But on a serious note, take care of that little pup. :)

I can't stand irresponsible pet owners... I almost hit a little dogs like that, the thing came running over a snow bank in front of my truck. The owner apologized saying the dog surprised her and took off when she opened the front door but she was all bundled up and had the leash in her hand walking behind the dog. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have pets!

Truck is fine, all that happened was my bull bar was pushed back into my bumper. all it took was me pulling it back out.

As far as the pup. My friend took it in and is taking care of her. The dog is really sweet and im sure the puppy will grow up to be one happy camper :)
