At least you have a tray for your sandwiches when you stop for a bit on a long trip...

I've had a couple of WRX's and my son just got a Civic SI, so I'm familiar with the impulse. I have had all matter of Hondas in the past including an Odyssey, Accord coupe and CRV. My other son is driving the CRV and it is still going strong with 250K miles on it. (My fiancee's daughter has her old Pilot as a winter car which has 350K miles on it. Thing will not die...)

Anyway, best of luck. Some of us like our thrills just a few inches from the ground, some from a few feet up. Different strokes for different folks.

Hey, I've got an idea. Go out and get a Ridgeline for your utility vehicle and then come back and post about that!

    I kid, I kid...

That car is awesome bro! I love that color. I have a 2007 Honda Accord as my DD that has only 90k on it. I love that little car. It’s easier to zip around in when in the city.

Enjoy the civic. I had a ‘15 civic Si for about 8k miles. Couldn’t get used to the combo of fwd, torque, and electric power steering. It felt unpredictable while accelerating, and steering. No feedback. Ditched it for a rwd 370Z, with good old fashioned hydraulic steering.
As long as it suits you, that’s all that matters. I sold Hondas for 6 years, great cars.
    Cheers

Nice car I guess if you don’t need a truck. Honda makes really high quality products! I would consider a ridge line but don’t care for the looks. I think the motor sounds better on the ridgeline

I like the new CTR. The wing is whatever, but it is what it is. I still like the car.

Between my wife and I, we’ve owned about 10 different Hondas and Acuras over the years. Most of mine have been heavily modded, especially my 94 Civic and 94 Integra.

    Haters gonna hate.

    Congrats.

May you put many fun and safe miles in it.

Don’t mind the hate and negative shit that’s coming your way. If Jesus himself popped up on TW and said He was a Taco driver and was switching to another car, there is a select group of assholes here who would bitch about it.

Decent, the Type Rs are so sweet! Like many others I want to get myself a fun car one day soon but I'm looking at something far less fancy lol. Congrats, you'll love it!

I wouldn't necessarily call a car with 145,000 trouble free miles a lemon...maybe not awesome, but far from a lemon

I hardly ever drive my 2016 Tacoma, maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks. I get compliments when I do but my daily driver is a 2011 Toyota Rav4. It drives 10x better and doesn't have that nasty gear hunting no torque engine/transmission combination the Tacoma has. This is my 6th Tacoma and it's been the worst driving experience out of all of them. Otherwise I love the truck, just not a daily driver.

That’s true. It would break my heart, but I could not abide his decision.

With the reputation I expected many more. I expect that kind of problem at that low of mileage from a Chrysler product, not Honda.

We had a guy come who ordered a white type R. It came in and sat in the shop for a little bit. The day he came to pick it up another random customer came in wanting to buy it. They told him it was already sold. He offered the buyer 10k cash to take it off his hands. Dude said no. Lol. It’s a cool car but I would of took the money and ran, then ordered another one if I wanted one that bad.
