    I normally stir clear of this kind of thread. But I feel the need to say something. My neighbor down the street just bought a new RL. He freely admits they are "Honda people"...she drives a Late model CR-V and he had a Pilot....that was traded in on the RL.

    Now here's why I bring this up. This is what he says to me. "It's not as macho as your truck. But the wife likes the way it looks and drives....so I got".

    Any questions? :notsure:

    All joking aside...my wife said it looked like ass.

    And to be fair....the RL and Taco, despite the potential to have some cross-over in terms of function, are really more apples to oranges. I bet there aren't many cross shoppers.

    I actually really liked the Element. After test driving one I felt it was very utilitarian. I would have bought one but my better half nixed it due to it being burnt orange. I would probably still be driving it if I'd gotten it.

    I ended up with a "no character" Subaru Legacy. Bleh. Super OK car but I couldn't get over the fact of how bland it was.
