I know I’m imagining it but still convinced our glass sucks

I just got the final determination from Toyota on my replacement windshield. As a reminder they replaced my windshield (had a delamination near the top of glass) but the new one has less shading at the top than the factory windshield had.

They said Toyota sent the proper windshield and that is the end of it. They stated it might be a supersede part or a newer replacement style they are using to replace the original. I guess I just have to get a tint band installed to compensate for the missing shading.

I find it funny but everything they have done for me at no cost to me, they always say the same thing to me: "This is done as a one time courtesy to you." The wording is identical every time like it is a rehearsed response they are trained to spit out. LOL

Oh well, onward and upward!
