    ...because the Goodyear Wranglers suck.20161010_154344.jpg

Four flat tires in 7,500 miles? Really...? Three of those cuts in the treads... Sure, one of those flat's was due to a screw, but I can't blame Goodyear for that. But seriously, they couldn't put a more "off-road worthy" tire on this $40k truck?? I have seen several different tires run over the years, and have never distrusted a tire more than the Wrangler.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
    ko2s are great ats.

theres just a very small population of ppl on here who talk shit about them. aussik or whatevever

rohnny dahl and everyone hes talked to thinks coopers are shit lol and they actually use them.

    unlike aussie who installs them

The tires on Tacomas for the price of the vehicle is just stupid. Truck is built for offroad capabilities then crap tires are put on.

Yikes! Sorry about the bad luck! Can't exactly relate, but at least they aren't those shitty Dunlops on the older Tacomas. I've swapped those ASAP on every Tacoma i've owned

That is because 95% of people only drive their truck on the street. Plus EPA numbers. I remember when Ford put BFG ATs on 4x4s. Heck I thought they were crap and swapped for some MTs.

...ronny said the coopers were great wtf are you talking about lol.
he's had two sets of the ST Pros
Tourben had them on his cruiser as well.
Besides all those guys from his videos usually run mud terrains since lets be fair...a mud terrain is better in pretty much all off road conditions, just they wear to fast and are noisey as hell. Some of the modified videos they use ATs but on all his touring videos they're usually on muds

@Aussiek2000 and myself both don't care for the KO2 because they suck at clearing mud when you spin them to try and clear the mud. The coopers work much better in the mud and soft sand.
KO2s are decent tires but they are no where close to as great as people make them out to be.

I'm considering trying the General Grabbers. I've talked to ronnie a few times via facebook and he's said he loves them for an all terrain.
KO2s are strong yes but their on road wet traction sucks and their mud traction is meh.
Sure KO2s are amazing compared to the goodyear wranglers but many on here praise the KO2s as the end all be all greatest tire ever made, and they're far from that.

100% agree, especially for the price. They are a mid pack tire. Above average off road and below on road. Multiple other tires are better on and off road for a more reasonable price, they just don't look as cool which is what many are going for, aesthetics > performance in their eyes...

Cooper AT3 then Grabber AT2 are my top two choices for AT tires (not hybrids).
