I like them! From all the reviews I've came across, they are a well liked tire. I've had the BFG KO's on my previous Tacoma and they were alright. Seemed to pick up and throw every rock they could find. Had BFG KM2's on my FJ and they were pretty noisy. The Cooper's noise wise aren't bad at all on Lil Red. I've yet to travel down any dirt roads with them. So far highway wise, I like the Cooper's more then the KM2's.

I had my ST Maxxs installed Friday. BFGs still had tread but could not stand looking at the Maxx's sitting in my garage any longer. They ride great and no noise. Trying them at 40 psi for now. Only thing I notice is the performance is off a little towing boat due to larger diameter.

Are the Coopers noisy on the highway? They look like motocross knoobies.

You get a little hum out of them. But with the radio on medium volume I can't hear them. KM2's I had on my FJ were alot louder. I feel like the KO's I had on my 2 gen were just a hair quieter.

I have to say that no noise to me is relative. I cannot remember the last time I ran a hwy tire and I always have the radio on. I am not going to turn the radio off and roll the window down to listen to the hum.

I always have the radio on and it's usually up most of the way. The tire noise doesn't bother me. If it did I wouldn't have bought MT's haha

This seemed like a good place to copy and paste my reply to a guy being a turd to me about my tire/wheel choice in another thread. There are scenarios where KO2's make sense.

FWIW, I realize you guys ridicule people who buy the KO2's, but I've been using the bfg all terrain on jeeps and Toyotas since the 90's, and other than mud performance, I've been happy with them.
Full disclosure, the manufacturing plant I work for is somehow related to the BFG manufacturing facility, and I get BFG tires at half price. So I get KO2's for what you guys pay for the WalmartUniroyal Liberator tires, at $450 a set. I'd be stupid to pay more for an inferior tire because millennial frat boys get their parents to pay a grandfor them.
I was ridiculing that group myself by calling them Mall-Terrains and Bro-tires.
If you'll judge a guy by the tires he gets a steep discount on, then you're a tool yourself.
Thanks for the help, those of you who did.
I will likely buy the correct tpmssensors when the hurt of spending $800 on wheels and tires fades a bit. In the meantime, I have my wheels and tires mounted, and they look and drive nice, and I don't have a light on my dash reminding me that the commies are winning. ;)
Thanks again, and have a great day!

If you are not mudding than the BFGs are a damn good tire. The only problem I have is the blocky white letters.

The old ones were about as good as any street tires in mud. The KO2's are quite a bit better. Or at least they were on my 4runner. I haven't tried this set on the pickup yet.

I've been a white letters out kinda guy since I was in high school. Hell, I even ran white letters out on a couple of aircooled volkswagens..
    Different strokes and whatnot...
