Thanks, they're 265/70/17 on 2015 4runner trail premium wheels. They stick out a bit further than the steelies did :)20161128_160755.jpg

Noisy... had the open country M/T on my f250 and the were noisy when new and worse as they aged...

Off-road performance as good enough that I'd buy again

What's the "quietest" highway tire that will allow you to do decent off roading?

So far... My current set of falken AT3. Great tire on road and does exactly what I need off-road. Happy medium

Will have to look it up today

My main concerns are weight (of tire) and highway noise

If I can keep both of those low while doing ok off road I am good

Just checked local CL - no Trail edition wheels. A few older sets, a few 20" Limited ones. Will keep an eye on it.

They make p-metric sizes in the AT3's too. Much lighter tire...

Don't know much about p metric sizes. But I need to learn.

I want to go lighter and skinnier. Maybe 245/255 range.

Yup, those are nice, too. Honestly, I like the stock TRD Sport wheels. This was just a spur of the moment thought. I'll almost certainly stick w/ my stock ones for the time being. I'd actually like to find a fifth matching one to use for a spare...

KO2 34x10.5 is about a 255 profile. I'll rock those after my current ones wear out!

    Sports are nice

TRD OR and TRD PRO Tacoma wheels are the ugliest. I sold my TRD PRO wheels with less than 100 miles on them to a salivating BRO
