if you have the sliding rear widow. try to put a little pressure on the little window and knock it off the track. or try and pop the little latch to get that window open.

An extra key would be the easiest way (prolly should get one of those). You can probably get in there with a coat hanger and pop the lock- but letting someone who knows what they are doing will protect your window and the door internals.

if you break that little window you'll have to replace all three, pricey. Call towing company they should be able to get you in.

That's neat. What secures it into the receiver?

There are bolts on each side that secure an outer sleeve that slides into the receiver. The inner sleeve/drawer with the combo lock slides into the outer sleeve. They have special bolts for the Taco as the taco's reciever wall is a bit thicker than most 2x2 receivers. This safe is very solidly built.

AAA was the best $80 I've ever spent...Plus you can get a credit card type key made so you can always have it in your wallet when needed.

It has a built in locking mechanism with 4 digit lock. No key. I think they are ~$60-70 on various auto webs sites. Type HitchSafe into Google and the product web site will show.....

Toyota all weather floor mats. Mag light that clunks around in the jack compartment. Dog hair. Dog drool on the windows.
yeah AAA, or a locksmith.. Breaking the window is more expensive.
