It is just way to busy, I love ever other aspect of the truck, thats why Iam putting the SR5 grill on it and using the other one for hamburgers and hot dogs!! (I know its plastic,you get the point)

 

Why are people trolling this thread ? Jealousy ? Not enough to do ? Feel the need to bash others' truck to feel good about themselves ? If I don't like something about your truck, I'm going to think it but I'm going to keep it to myself for many reasons that should be obvious to you.

 

Nope...no jealousy. Just reading lots of problems with the '16s.

 

I just add them to my "ignore list" problem solved. TW makes it easy to weed out the riff-raff with one little click of the mouse.

 

A. I would bet you're smart enough to understand about the silent majority and all that.

B. Even if every 2016 had an issue, why would any decent person need to come onto THIS thread, let alone any thread, and bash them ?

 

Cam, I saw a 16 Crew Cab short bed TRD Sport in Quicksand color this morning at Walmart. If it would not of been raining I would of parked next to him and waited so I could see his truck. This was the 1st new Tacoma I have seen in my little poor town except for the one I'm driving. Hope he was not just here visiting for Christmas. Liked to have seen the Quicksand in the daylight. Looked nice all wet from the rain.

 

I took mine to the tint guy yesterday and he was so excited... first 2016 he has seen and I'm in a small city of about 65,000 people. And he is one on the most popular tint guys in town. When I first drove MINI Coopers back in 2006, they were so uncommon that people often asked me What The Heck Is That ? Kind of neat driving a vehicle that not many others have but yeah, I'll be excited when I see another on the road!

 

I love my access cab TRD OR 4X4! I can see where people aren't happy with the tranny, but it seems perfectly normal to me. Almost like the 2nd gen 5 spd auto, but with one taller gear for hwy/downhill. My 2nd gen would drop from 5th to 4th for small hills, and the 3rd goes from 6th to 4th a lot. Doesn't bother me. Other than that, truck seems flawless. Got some sandbags in the bed for when snow hits.

Yeah I like those wheels also. Starting to see allot of them on Ebay now. Just may have to pop on a set. Or the black TRD wheels. Don't have the cabbage to buy them now so plenty of time to decide.

Stephen I like my black Betty also even though she is only a 4 cylinder. I cannot believe how far the 4 cylinder has come since my old 1988 Plymouth Voyager!

Yep, that is a tiny town. Nothing wrong with that tho, Scooter. I've lived in some towns that size and even smaller and there is a lot to be said for small town living. I may get transferred due to my job and the places I may get sent are Tacoma or Atlanta. I prefer them in the order of population, smallest to largest.
