With all the bitching going on I thought I would throw it out there that I love my truck.

Some of the issues I have noticed have been really minor.

I love my truck too! Respect your elder gen ;)

That's a great looking truck you have, I love the dark grey. The dark grey is my favorite color in the 3rd gens. The level of lift you put on is perfect too, IMO. I want to lift mine as well soon, same height

Your truck looks really nice, very clean. Should come from the factory looking like that.

What island are you on, OP? It seemed like for every wild chicken there was also a Tacoma in Kauai.

That is a great looking truck. Got to love the MGMs. There is a lot of bitching about the third gens, but they look good. Great wheel and tire combo too. Someone asked about tire and life size. What are the specs?

When I was in high school that was my dream truck. I loved that red, and wish they still offered it. I went with Inferno because I thought the Barcelona was a little bland. I'm not opposed to picking up a 1st gen if the right one comes along. The problem is up here in Michigan they're all rusted out. When I'm back down in TX or TN I check autotrader, you know, just in case hehe. My wife would love it if I bought more toys lol ...

Someone told me that there are chickens everywhere because during a bad storm a while back a bunch of their pens or whatever got messed up and all these chickens got out. No one was able to get them all back, and they started breeding out in the wild. Silly chickens. Get in my belly.

Rowher Flats, about 45min northeast of L.A. At least...that's where we started, lol. Ended up getting somewhat lost in the cloudy mountains...went through some sketchy terrain...popped out the other side 30 miles from where we started overlooking the Bouquet Canyon Reservoir. Was definitely an adventure

haha, yeah that's one good thing about living out near the desert, rust is a problem we seldom run in to. This truck spent most of it's life in Arizona as well, even less rust out there. But I also think the resale value is even higher on them out here than most places, probably because of that.
