Any one in taco land like their rig but just wish they would have gotten a diffrent model or option package motor, color two or four door ????? as for myself i bought mine new in feb of 09 and chose a base access cab 2.7 auto and man it serves me great. as a electrician a toolbox was mandatory and picked one up got 90% of my gear tools meters etc. thrown in All was well till a year ago i saw a newish 5 lug base 4 door wtf i thought . went home and looked at the og dealer brochure for all 09 taco models and shit not one 4 door 5 lugger was offered . man i could have really used the extra 2 doors with a 4 banger especially with my 3 year old an all . but what the hell 12 more months and its payed for and im still happy with it good on gas and trouble free. So whats your story ?

My car was totaled and I only had 5 days to find a replacement. I has been saving up for a Tacoma but ended up being rushed into it. I love my truck but a DC OR or Sport would have been nice.

    Well....
Some one once asked me what car i would take if I could have anything

My answer was a RC taco
thats what I ended up with a few months later I traded a 2010 Subaru outback sport for it and while I miss having five seats.... I drive a truck now its 4x4 will tow 3500 lbs and get decent mpg.... oh and its a five speed a must for me and any of my cars.... I am happy

You should be happy with any Tacoma because when we need to run to the store real quick we can lift our tacos as high as we want, and put tons of mods and park perfectly without it being a pain like those F-250 and 350 guys, who just compensate for being 5'0" ahaa

i got used. and only thing i would change is color. i really wanted SWB but it was hard to find a DCSB trd off road 4x4 with auto trans in SWB i looked up to 6 hours way and could not find one. if i was to do it agin i think i would get a MGM. I did not like them that much, but after seeing them on here after a few mods were done i LOVE them!

I used to be a little unhappy with the silver color. Now I think it's blingin', especially with black rims and black headlights.

Searched for a long time for a used truck. I wanted manual trans and 4x4. Hard to find in my area. Finally found it, the only regret now is the manual trans. I guess I'm getting older, just tired of all the shifting. The often mentioned issues with the six speed trans doesn't help.
