@wileydavis, hey I was curious if you ever got around to making a similar vent attachment for your universal phone mount on the second gen like you have for the third gen? I have been considering getting a tech deck, but I really like the vent approach if it is possible.

Got one in the works but no solid ETA. Gotta get the tablet mount released first.

Oh ok cool, I assume that is the piece that would actually bolt into the vent frame?

Purchased, received, installed and realized that this was the best $20 bucks i've spent in 2017 so far. Well done sir, well done
Those with any doubts, especially those with man mitts and a touch screen - just do it.

Just to check before I buy, will these fit this radio? 2013 non-jbl, non-nav.

i feel like an idiot. i followed the one-sentence directions (luckily... i probably would have tried to match flat-side to flat-side) and the knobs seemed to go on easy enough, but now i've lost the ability to actually push the button. the knob will touch the screen before it registers a push. any thoughts?

this is on Entune Premium w/ Nav (no JBL).

Is the o-ring still on the knob? That's what provides grip on the radio post so the knob won't slide off. I assume the push button works with the knob removed?

I'll try and get one tonight. The knobs should just pop off right? Don't want to break anything...
