When you are a tiny shop and you have a fantastic product things get backed up once the word gets out. I ordered before the holidays and waited a number of weeks. Was it frustrating well yes. Once they arrived was I over the moon satisfied well yes.

Be patient. They are that good.

Put mine in last week. They look 150% better than the factory knobs.

Any news on when the Basic Knobs will have text on them (Volume/Tune)?
I've been waiting for them for 2 months, even declined the empty knobs with no text that I was offered for free :)

I've had the knobs a few weeks, maybe a month. They are still awesome and I can actually operate the volume with ease my only feedback would be to make them a larger diameter.
    Anyhow, they are still badass.
    Thanks for making them!

What is with everyone always needing a discount? I paid FULL PRICE. The man makes a great product at a great price. Let's let the man get PAID so he has the cash to invest in making more great products that we can all enjoy.

Everyone complains when their local guy closes shop but no one seems to equate the fact that they are so fricking cheap and always squeeze him for a buck until he has to find another source of income to pay his bills. If this was a product in MASS production made by the tens or hundreds of thousands it would be a different story but then again it isn't.

Support the little guy with cash not group buys or discount codes. Thank you Hondo Garage. Keep charging me full price and keeping making great products.

My outlook on this is that I don't care if people ask, but don't get offended if I can't offer more of a discount because I calculate the prices to be profitable but also what I think is a good value. We do forum discounts as a thanks for letting us promote our products. Without the forums, we'd have to spend more on advertising which is less effective because it's harder to locate the die-hard enthusiasts outside of the forum. That said, if 100% of our customers utilized the discount, we'd have to raise prices, so it is appreciated. In the end I like making cool stuff and having more profit means I can buy better machines to make even cooler stuff, or hire more people so I can spend more time designing new stuff.

For $20 or whatever they were for the Entine premium knobs I considered it a steal. That's dirt cheap for a custom part.

Woah! I don't think it's wrong to see if there is a deal...especially for Taco members. For me (like you), here in Canada, even with the small discount, the price comes out to over $50!! Compared to the $20-some the Americans are getting, damn right I'll ask for a code :canada:

My point is being missed. Saving a buck is something we all do. I owned my own business for a number of years. People always want to squeeze you for a dollar and when you are no longer in business they all of a sudden are upset you are no longer around to serve them. When I had the chance to make substantially more money than I could on my own I closed shop.

I look at the work on these knobs. I could make ones just as nice but my cost (time/labour) is no where close to what this gentleman is offering. Maybe that is the difference, I know what it would take to make them myself and I am excited to pay him to do it for the price he asks. I can make more money going to work and then paying Hondo to make these for me.
