I need a computer geek -kid messed up my keyboard

    My upper number keys on my Dell laptop are screwed up and I need some help.
    Pressing '1' looks like this `1````````````
    '2' is controlling my F1 key
    '3' is controlling my F2 key
    '4' looks like this 545555555555555555
    '5' looks like this 54444444444444444
    etc.....

    Any ideas?

    This seems like the issue. Something has locked on your function keys. if you look at the keys your pressing, the blue lettering on the key probably corelates to the action taken when you press the key.

    I'm pretty glad it's fixed too. That's what I get for letting my 2.5yr old surf Wiggles and Yo Gabba vids on Youtube....
