Probably would cost you 400-1000 in labor depending on where you get it done. I think the 6 inch kits that cut the crossmember run around 1200ish...? So probably set aside at least 2k, plus tires and or wheels would add to the cost.

6inch lift sitting on bilstein coilovers. Lexus is300 studs in front to keep stock wheels, general grabber red letters, nfab front bumper.
Do yourself a favor and do some research. Get full length coilovers and some custom rear springs from alcan. Don't do it like me. I'm still trying to fix my crappy 6 inch lift. It looks good but it's rough as hell off road.

I always assumed most people that go with the 6 inch kits are using it purely for looks, I've heard mostly bad thing with those kits off-road that correlate with what your saying.

Depends what your use is for the truck looks 6in lift all day but for performance OME or coilovers are the way to go. You'll be able to fit 285/75/17 with some trimming. Highly advised from lots of members you stay away from spacer lifts they ride horrible.

Yea be patient and look around. IMO what you will be using the truck for will determine what kind/size of tire to u will need and the size of the tire will determine the lift you will need

    Just a grocery getter
    First off. Don’t do blocks
    Second. No blocks
Third if you do a 6” loft and cut the crossmember the ground clearance is the same as a 3” one
Fourth. Do it right the first time and save money

Like others above said, don't use blocks, don't preload your coils, and do your research and get it done properly. Almost everyone here will steer you away from a 6" lift.
