I need help fast

    i need a steering knuckle for an 07 tacoma and fast anybody have an idea where to look and about how much it would cost..... i broke mine cause i stripped the bolt holding the ball joint in for the control arm.... and now the ball joint was stuck... i cut the bolt head off and tried to have it pressed out but in return the guy that tried to press it out broke it so i need one and fast.....:eek:

    What do you mean by steering knuckle? Outer tie rod end, ball joint?

    Sounds like he's talking about the spindle itself. I can't imagine how the bolt wouldn't come out unless it was cross-threaded in there. it's like a 12-14mm bolt. But if it was cross threaded I wouldn't want to try and re-use it anyhow. Try a junkyard or the dealer, I suspect unless you did a SAS or installed a lift with different spindles everyone is using theirs. Sucks for sure but it's not something most people would have spares of kicking around.

    yea its the whole spindle..... the uca connects to the top of it and the lca connects to the bottom its the main part of your steering and im in a whole bunch of trouble if i cant find on and soon

    Have you checked car-part.com yet? You might be able to find a used one quicker than you'll find one at a dealer. It's not exactly a wear item so I doubt many dealers keep them on hand. But yeah I doubt you'll find one you can get your hands on before tomorrow.
