Well yesterday I made big mistake I took out the transmission fluid thinking it was the engine oil. And I open the engine oil cap inside the engine bay. And put the new oil in without taking the old oil out. Now my transmission is sliping while I'm drivingI changed out the diff fluid as well as the transmission fluid. And engine oil..

Idk what to do I'm new to this please no dumb comments can help me fix this problem be great. God bless

Have it towed to a place that knows how to fill toyota transmissions and let them fill it properly while draining out the oil and refilling that also. Do NOT drive it at all, you'll be spending thousands instead of a few hundred if the transmission goes.

Yeah I'm not driving it at all. The thing is that my dad already filled up the transmission fluid today. New gasket and filter as well

He probably didn't do it correctly for this type of transmission.

Plan on spending upwards of $300 for the WS refill..... Still better then thrashing your transmission.

I once put brake fluid in a 1998 Bonneville power steering unit, fortunately I realized it and got it out without issue.

I once put 8 quarts of oil in a 1972 Buick Skylark and it still didn't register on the stick only to figure out that the dipstick tube was cracked and the dipstick was in open air out the side instead of in the oil pan.

Recently my dealer changed my oil in my 2014 Tacoma and filled it with oil twice making in 4.5 quarts over filled!

    So it's just not you!!!!!
