I need help in unpluging the mass air sensor electrical conection. What's the secret?

    it's sometimes hard to pull

    srsly lift tab and pull the connector off. wiggle it, spray silicone in there, whatever

    you need to be smarter than the plug

    tab is directly where the mass air flow sensor arrow is pointing

    if there is no tab it's been broken off and maybe glued on
    or otherwise, they are sometimes hard to pull off even if tab is lifted
    and it doesn't matter if these are tacoma pictures or not, 99% of toyota
    mafs are identical

    Thanks for the photos and comments, however none resembled the mass air sensor electrical connection on my 2016 Tacoma 3.5 Off road 4X4. Frustrated, I finally just removed the entire sensor from the stock airway, skipping K&N's poor instruction photos, and reconnected into the K&N airway as my last step of installation. Engine sounds great and is more responsive.
