Hello my fellow 2nd generation Tacoma owners. I have a 2003 Tacoma DC, and I came across a UWS low profile black tool box on Craigslist. I'm concerned it will not fit my 03 and the owner of the box can't get home just yet to measure it. Is there anyone who can measure from left to right the width of your DC 2nd generation bed near the window? I know I know that's asking alot, you must have to motivation get out of your computer chair, get a tape measure, go outside, and report back, but I meeting the guy tonight and want to save me and him the hassle of trying to fit it on my truck. PLEASE HELP.

It wont fit a first gen if its measured for a second gen. It would be 2 ish inches too long.

OK that's exactly what I figured I was just hoping for hope. I also verified the part numbers and they are in fact different just wanted confirmation. Pretty bummed. Oh well if anyone needs a black UWS low pro tool box for cheap in the Austin area PM and I'll forward you the guys number.
