The reason I am responding on this thread is because I just pulled the trigger on a Leer 180 for my 5' bed truck. Laugh all you want, I like it. The thing will weigh somewhere around 300 pounds or more, and I thought I could use a bit more rear axle support.

I spoke with OK4WD in NJ. After 15 minutes of chasing leads and ideas, they concluded that the SR under-axle leafs was "a unicorn" and that they just did not have any solution to sell for lifting it. Then, I followed up with Deaver spring, and they offered to build add-a-leafs for me if I wanted it, provided I gave careful measurements first. I guess that is an option, if I can find someone to install it.

But I'm going by both the advice of OK4WD and Deaver - don't bother lifting the rear end until the camper shell is installed, then decide if it sags too much or not.

I've only had 350lb in the bed so far, the truck wasn't sagging at all lol still had rake

Not sure if it's just because the truck is new but it seems like they beefed up the leafs compared to the previous gens

Spring over on the Taco always resulted in the flat pancake spring (since they didn't want them to be too tall stock), but SUA on the new trucks seems to take a lot more weight to sag. It's also probably better for the spring in the longrun. Probably less comfortable than the pancake SOA setup of the past gens.

Simplest solution: Find a fabricator to lengthen the existing or make you some new shackles and be done with it.
