Yeahppp I went and looked at a truck already modded and it was a piece of shit once i drove it. So i decided to buy a stock one (the one i have) and mode it myself so i know it was all done right.

It's also alot different when you must pay for your own vehicle. I mean im all for buying something nice if you know you can pay for it. For instance when i was 18 i bought a brand new street bike for 12k. Allowed me to build credit as i never missed a payment and i payed it off in 2.5 years. In other words it's hard to truly appreciate something unless your own sweat and blood went into it.

Id say get the 2012, it will come with warranty plus you will know everything that is ever done to it which is worth the 1k in itself. As far as damaging the 08 vs damaging the new one... in the end they're both 24-25 thousand bucks so its all the same. As far as 4wd... I've used mine 5 times total since I bought it, 4 were to pull someone out and 1 was when I was test driving it.

Get 4x4, I had a Prerunner and got stuck twice in my driveway! You won't regret it and it will be nice to know you have it :)
