    Hey guys hey.

I will be going on a weekend trip sometime later this spring. I'll be on a 10 hour drive from southeast Massachusetts through New York into Toronto, Canada.

Obviously I will be storing some luggage in the bed. Now I know I will need some sort of covering over the bed to protect the luggage from the weather elements (rain). Now I have been looking at Tonneau covers but I'm not sure I want to make that big of an investment.

I was wondering if there any cheaper alternatives like tarps maybe? I don't know. I'm really hoping for some answers or any advice you guys and gals are willing to give.

Thank you in advance for the time and any help.

I have used a yakima or thule roof top bag in the bed of thetruck but they are kind of pricey as well. There are other manufacturer of aroof top storage bag but the I will say that with a yakima or thule bag yourstuff will stay dry

tarp or get one of those thule soft bag carriers, i think a tonneau is a great investment, you can get one for a couple hundred bucks

I've used plastic totes in the past. Another thing I've used is contractor trash bags. Both of these are cheap and have worked good for me.

This will probably be the best bet for ya here. I almost got one last year but I didn't so I can't attest to the quallity of it. But from my research on this thing it has pretty good reviews.
