OK seems like I’m getting nowhere trying to buy wheels and tires. I’ve searched through the suggested thread at the top of this forum, and I’m still a bit confused, even with the diagram.

I have a 2017 double cab Offroad. I will have an ADS stage two with up to a 3 inch lift.

What exactly do I need as a minimum for offset and backspacing on a 17 inch wheel so I can avoid rubbing with a 285. I will note I am considering getting 275’s.

I don’t mind doing a bit of trimming if that’s the easiest/best way to go about this.

This can be a bit tricky answer but here goes.

So a 3 inch lift will most likely require you to get new upper control arms. Those control arms will require less backspace. Can you tell me which arms your getting or post a link for the kit? Also we’ll need to know what tires your considering

Those 285’s are also gonna require a cab mount chop.

Backspace wise I would be looking at wheels with a backspace of 4.5 and below with a 0 offset. Should give you plenty of room to clear

SPC light racing UCA’s. I’m considering the duratrac’s, possibility the AT3W and the AT2.

should be a good combo. Got any wheels in mind and how far out of the fenders do you want them?

Less backspace is gonna set you further out which typically means more fender trimming

I haven’t chosen anything yet. I need to find something on the cheaper side, and hopefully mostly black.

    Popular wheels around here are

Scs- stealth custom series (sell quickly)
    Method wheels
    Fn wheels
    Fuel wheels
    Pro comp

Just remember when your looking around that backspace needs to be around 4.50 or below. Positive off-set pulls you back into the fender while negative take you out.
