I spent a year checking Craigslist to find one that fit/color matched. I was super stoked to finally run into this one. Real nice guy too. Think he was second guessing his decision to sell when I drove out of his driveway. He text me later and said DUDE that looks good on your truck. HA. Beats full price!!

I have had my Snugtop Rebel for a few months now. It has pet screens a fold down front window with slider. (very Nice).
It has been rained on and has not leaked. It fit's like a glove and seals great.
I have wheeled quite a few times with articulating and I have not had any issues.

I have had Leer '94 and ARE '02. Both were great. The dealer can't get my new one to seal '15 and said that they would refund my money.

Well I just got my top yesterday, great look but am super unsatisfied with the attention to detail. Rubber seals had rips, snugtop emblem in the back so crooked it looks like it was put on by a 5 year old . But from 10 feet away it looks real nice, my suggestion find a used shell at a descent price and than you will be satisfied with it and accept a few flaws here and there! When paying $3K I expect perfection20151231_093251.jpg

I think they are all the same, I still wouldn't trade for a ARE or a Leer but that is just my preference

    Agreed.

I peeled off all the emblems and stickers. They're not paying me to advertise their brand. I think it looks cleaner too.

I agree 100%, if you build something I feel you took pride in I don't mind you putting your name on it :) otherwise leave it off so others don't know who did the bad job.. ha ha :)

I have no complaints about my Leer 100R. If you're looking for a used one, be patient. Craigslist is your friend. If you're buying new, I would highly suggest getting windoors.

It's one of those things... I searched craigslist for about a half year and all I saw is long/ regular bed. I ordered mine without windows because I have side toolboxes, I know it's a preference thing... I love mine without windows

I know the feeling. It took me about six months to find one within my budget. I finally found one and had it painted. Top+paint came out to about $500. It was definitely worth the wait. Toolboxes would be handy as well. I just wish I had windoors so I didn't have to crawl in the bed to get something that is up near the cab. Wait....... I've got it...Tool box on one side with a windoor on the other. Utilitarian as F#$&:D

For work stuff, my cap would be ideal. I really like the extra height that the taller cap provides, it makes camping in the bed more of a possibility.

I also recently went to VT for the weekend and took the cap off to see how much better my MPG would be. To my surprise, i averaged just under 19 MPG on the entire trip (nearly all highway & speeds above 50).
With the cap on, I average just above 20 MPG combined city/highway driving.

I got the ARE CX series with the sliding windoors for my dogs, carpet lined, LED lights and love it! Ran me about $1900 brand new. I have had zero problems out of it. Before I go the 265/75s put on, I was getting around 20 with the shell on the truck, now with the tires, around 18

How do you get 19-20 mpg? A 4 cylinder or hybrid? ;)

I would go with a Leer if I could turn back time.

    4 cylinder 5-speed M/T. My Ultragauge helps a lot.

I'd love to replace the flip-up windows with sliding screen windows that also flip-up, cant seem to find any of those anywhere.
