It sounds like Toyota greased the squeaky wheel too many times and now they're hoping it just falls off.

Excellent homework and documentation... looks like you’re set up for a successful arbitration with the NCDS should Toyota Corporate fail to provide repairs. Probably a good idea to establish “like and similar” mechanical issues wherein Toyota did perform in-warranty repairs on other Tacoma trucks for the hearing.

    Keep the pressure on corporate...

Thanks! I have a few that I’ve screenshot, and someone passed a tread link to another.

Yeah it’s so ridiculous I don't feel a trade-in or otherwise taking a monetary loss on this is okay.

I understand that you are frustrated, but I just don't get this mentality. Why put yourself through weeks/months of more stress and frustration. Isn't your time, sanity and health worth more then the loss of couple grand? No matter the outcome, will you ever be happy with the truck or Toyota at this point?

Look at those here that have similar issues and moved on to other vehicles and that have stuck around, they have all been much happier after doing so.

I appreciate your opinion, it’s already been 2.5 years or pulling my hair out so I’ve got stake in the fight yet. I haven’t made a final decision on what path I will take in the end, everything is still pretty fluid at this point. I do understand when it comes to products, bad products get out in the world, depending on the situation I try to make fair judgements on whether it’s a bad product, service, or brand.

I’ll be mindful to leave all my options open regardless of how I feel in the moment about it all!

it's guys like you that fight corporate America to keep the rights of us consumers. If everyone just says "fuck it" then eventually Toyota will keep getting away with more and more BS. You are not just fighting for your rights but the future rights of ALL of us!....Keep fighting and put me down for $20 for the go fund me page to help with legal costs!!

If you win a lemon law case you don't have to pay anything.
I have watched a few of this guys videos. I don't know if your in his state but alot of states work the same way with lemon law cases

    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMljRGC0eBJrxbUorWEnasg

He talked about several cases where the car company gives the costumer the run around but as soon as he filed a lemon law suit they agreed to buy the car back

Thanks for the resource link! I know in my particular state, I can’t re-coup lawyer fees from arbitration but I can from persuing a LL filed suit.

    I voted unacceptable.

I had to stop reading your issue report, so much bad news. I couldn't take it all in. This is definitely unacceptable, for the oil leak issue.

My only question is what can you do about?

I'd definitely be at the lemon law mindset at that point. Your days out of service are getting close. Keep in mind it's business days, based off what you copy-pasted.

I'm also surprised the dealership's GM hasn't stepped in and offered to absorb the costs and get you into another vehicle to retain your future business. They can fix the issues and sell it.

I will come to a conclusion, likely not in the next few days though, then I'll be able answer your question!
