Good to know, they're only closed on Sundays, so +/- 4/5 days, still at over 30, and I need to verify if leaving it there for a full business day (drop off at 8am, pickup at 4/5/6pm) constitutes a day.

If so then I have days to add.

Thursday I hadn't been rejected for the oil leak, so I talked with my service/customer relations manager and stated that this vehicle has an overwhelming amount of issues and that we need to create a greater conversation. He asked me to give him a chance to talk with his dealer people (I assumed GM included) and see if they can come up with a solution.

The very next day (Friday) I had a service manager I typically don't deal with called me and state Toyota Corp has rejected the oil leak fix.

On top of that, the service manager was telling me about how he's taken off the front driveshaft and will be putting audio ears under the vehicle because he "hears the sound and will work on pin-pointing it", I asked "what sound?" to which he replied the rear-diff howl. So that is back after being fixed last year.

Worst part is that was not what it was in for this time, the papers I signed did not list this issue, and I did not authorize looking into it. So now they are taking apart components and troubleshooting an issue I did not know about nor authorize. I requested he document and he agreed.

He then asked, upon stating himself and the Customer Relations Manager, want me to call Toyota Corporate and set up/arrange a Field Service Technician to come out to the dealership and ride around with me to have me talk about my problems with the vehicle.

I don't appreciate being asked at this point to coordinate technicians flying out from Toyota. Additionally they need to both coordinate and ride around, as I am not a certified mechanic, I don't know what they've tried, and I'm not a g-damn engineer.

I'll be letting them know when they call that they need to arrange that.

    Outta control.

    GM has not reached out.

It may be worthwhile to reach out to the GM and speak with him/her one on one

Thanks for the info! I'm a long way out from even considering doing the GFM track. I have mixed feelings about GFM for non-medical situations anyway.

Yeah it's been a slow enough build up I gave it too many chances, it's the first new vehicle I've ever purchased, and the first vehicle I've purchased from any dealer. Hell of an introduction.

Out of curiosity, what was your bed issue?

And I was a certified Ford mechanic a couple years ago -- That's more than a "seep" - it's actually built up sludge!

Seeps are more like when it just appears lightly stained, and it's not really even wet to the touch

Sorry OP. Unacceptable from Toyota. From my understanding of the 6 pages, both the dealer AND corporate have refused to fix this under powertrain warranty as they say it is "normal". Dealer has asked YOU to schedule a Toyota field service engineer to look at the oil leak as next steps. I would ask corporate Toyota for their official position on what rate of oil leakage is acceptable, and have the dealer test for it (e.g. 1.0L / 1000 miles). My guess is they have no spec and are trying to save $$ since this repair is very involved.

Honda had similar type of issue with burning oil. They had a oil consumption test and anyone that burned more oil than was specified in a given mileage would get a free warranty repair. That's a fair assessment and standing behind your product. Toyota is really failing here.
