How do I lower this ride. Also does tire design (style) change the ride. My taco has 150k and the ride a little rough.

    Welcome to the forum....

and I'm not sure what you mean about "lower this ride"

if you mean physically lower the truck:
    https://www.google.com/search?q=tac...x6fzWAhVmqVQKHYCzCR0QsxgIKQ&biw=1915&bih=1031

if you mean "making the ride a little less harsh".... you can get better shocks / struts, and buy Michelin tires.

MT tires < All Terrain < Street tires as far as ride quality

My truck sits up high like it's a 4wd, it's probably 6" higher then a normal (regulator) prerunner. I can't figure out why it sits so high, only see a 1 inch space under rear axle (side note: both front seats have 1.25" spacer between rear bolts and frame) the shocks & struts appear longer than standard OME.
