I need to get my seat back to tilt more vertical on my '12 Prerunner...

I cannot get the factory original driver's seat in my 2012 Prerunner base model double cab to
tilt more vertical , it's highest setting is still leaning too far back for me to drive
with my back straight.... I have been told that there are ways to modify the seat , to change the range of tilt , so that you can adjust the seat back to a more straight up and down, almost vertical position. I am looking to find out how this could be done, without having to buy a better ( the TRD version ) seat , that offers more adjustment for the seat back. I checked , Toyota wants more than $2,200.00 for the TRD spec driver's seat. Any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks .

 

If a TRD specific seat is what you need, I'm sure you can find one off of ebay for a lot less than $2200. Have you considered some type of fixed racing seat. These tend to keep you very upright, but aren't great on comfort for long trips.
