Well here is my story. I have 118k miles on truck with 125k Toyota warranty. My front lca bushings were worn so i made a appointment to have oil change and them to look at the bushings. The following are my visits in a month.
    1. Went in on 10/30/17 and dropped off. The service advisor said it would cost $90 if they didn't find anything wrong with the lca. After spending 10 min saying I am not paying because it should be covered under extended warranty, I decided to just get my oil changed. When I paid for my oil service, they informed me that my rear shocks were leaking and weren't covered by warranty. I stated they were because they covered them before. They called and they are covered. So I set up a appointment to have them replaced when they arrive. Also went and talk to management about wanting to charge $90 if they found nothing wrong, they said that should have not been done if I still had a warranty.
    2. 11/7/17 went to have shocks replaced. Told service advisor that I took it to my usual alignment shop and they said lca bushings are wore out, so I need them checked. Also carrier bearing was out. They keep the truck 3days because a appraiser had to aprove the repairs for lca bushings and carrier bearing. They called and said shocks were replaced and it was approved for therepairs. I could get my truck until the parts are in.
    3. 11/20/17 dropped truck off to have repairs done. When I picked it up they changed the carrier bearing and rear springs. I asked why the springs were repkaced and not the lca bushings. They stated that the lca bushings were not bad. I showed the service advisor the wheel spacing behind the front tires (driver side was almost 1" further back than the passenger side). I scheduled another appointment to have it looked at again. As I was driving home there was a bad vibration now. So I went to grease the driveline. I noticed the zerts weren't lined up in a line like before.
    4. 11/28/17 took it back to have lca bushings look at again and have the vibration looked at. When I dropped it off, I told them I had went back to my alligment shop and took pictures and video of them being bad. Surprise, they called that afternoon and told me they were bad and would be covered. Went and picked up truck next morning(11/29/17) and they put it on the lift to look at drive line with the main service manager and mechanic. They stated there was no way to line up the zerts. I told them I could take it home and do and they could pay me. That was a no go. So after 10 min, I told them to just let me take it. I got home and went to work on it and they put the yoke by carrier bearing on the 90° and 1 tooth off. So back to the dealer. They put it back on the lift and I showed them how it was off and how to fix it. He said the yoke can only go on 1 way and couldn't be done. I asked if he would bet me $100 that it could be done. His answer was no. Left it there and received a call at the end of day and said it was ready. It was off just like I stated and now zerts are in line and u jints are straight. The moron that changed the carrier bearing failed to mark the driveline to make sure it was put back in just like it was removed. Drove truck and the vibration is gone. Now wanting for the parts for lca bushings to come in.
