    I am about to ask my wife for a separation. It is going to go over REALLY badly. Prayers please. We've been married since 1997 but been together since 1994. Help!!

    Well, I was just telling chris4x4 that she is a good wife BUT I am a wretched husband. Plus, (this makes me sound awful), I want children and we found out a few months back that she can't have any. (I know, I know). That is just the tip of the iceburg, so to speak. We just no longer have anything in common, we really don't have any similar interests. I figure why drag it out until we hate each other. You guys are great though, I appreciate the heart felt remarks.

    just make sure you think about what you are going to say before you tell her your decision, if you have time to think, think about those 15+ years you've spent with her and just because of some issues, dont make those the reasons why you ended the relationship.
    remember that thats 15+ years of life your throwing away if you do seperate
