Well..... I couldn't resist and ordered some Falken Wildpeak AT3w SL for my 07 Regular cab 4x4 manual. Hopefully this little thing can lug these around. I live at 6000 ft in the Colorado Rockies, and do enjoy all of the off-roading I have out here. Going to order some wheels, maybe Methods since I get a discount on those. Or gen 3 taco trd off road wheels. Any ideas on what size I need? 16x8? What offset? Also should I do Bilstein 5100s?

My 08 4 banger ac cab 5 speed mt rubbed the front flaps with 265’s. Used a heat gun to change the shape of the nub that sticks out on flaps.
I did end up doing 5100s at 2nd notch.
    Then it was nose high.
Then I got new springs and it was high assed.
So I got 1” blocks for the rear and guessing what it was nose high.
So I raised the 5100s again.
    It’s a slippery slope man.

the truck can do 265s but yea it steals some power how does you truck do now for you?
For a easy cheap 3/4-1” lift get a set of 3rd gen front coil overs complete spring and shock.

Shouldn't be too difficult to get it to sit right. I don't need it lifted, just was considering for a nicer ride quality or maybe leveling it out. I do love the truck but it is one SLOW MF haha... I'd imagine I'll need to get a rear air locker at some point for some of the trails out here but for now I am going to stick to the more moderate stuff.

    Yea man it’s all good!
    Welcome to TW!
My advice is to find some 3rd gen take offs.
I got a set from a member for like 200 front and rear.
It will level you out? I think everyone gets different results.
It was under 500 having it done with alignment.

Yea mine was slow also just depends how you drive.
The 265’s didn’t make any drastic difference.
I believe the 2nd and 3rd gens share the same wheel offset?

Sweet. I'd want the shocks and coils off a TRD OffRoad or Pro right? Or would the SR5 do the trick?

    Off road

I did them on my 12 off road it did well.
Handled better actually not sure if it was a tighter suspension or improved but better.
