I had an Android ... Sure you can customize it but I had too many issues with the OS.

I have an iPhone now. The batter has never run out. I put it on my alarm clock charger every night. The OS is solid and nothing compares to it. The OS is constantly updated to fix bugs and add new features. The resale value of apple products is crazy so you can upgrade often with little cost. The automatic backups and syncing between devices via the cloud is awesome. The size is perfect for my pocket. The new android phones with their giant screens, you'll need a man purse to carry them around. LOL

iPhone. I've had 3 androids. Went to iPhone and will never go back. It's a little more costly, but completely worth it. IMO, iPhone is more reliable.

When I bought it, Leer camper shell, N-Fab nerf bars, Westin bull bar. So far I've put K&N air filter and Jet Performance throttle body spacer, lights behind grill, snorkel, custom grill, and weather tech floor mats. Axe and shovel w/bed mounts, high lift jack w/bed mount, and Brute force fab rear bumper.
Go with the Droid! I had too problems with my iPhone, I lost all my contacts 3 times, all my apps, and then 700 songs all when I updated it,none of which would ever fully go back on the phone.

That's when it can stay connected to those calls, dropped calls are ridiculous especially on at&t. In fact with my vzw 4g Android I haven't dropped any calls to date, had about a year. And have had iPhone users drop calls on me, not to mention just hearing iPhone users complain about dropping calls

I have an EVO, good phone, but like most phones, it was a little buggy at first, but after they got android to a true production level software it's been great.

IMO, the deciding factor should be G's, as in 4g. Not sure why apple has waited so long to get it in their phone.

Sprint is also great, with true unlimited data. I go thru 6-7 gigs every month on my EVO and use it for home internet to save $'s on that bill.

Check out an iphone, a high end android and the Nokia Lumina 900 and then make your descision.

I'm an Android fan myself, however that stat is useless. You're comparing one specific phone, to tons of models from numerous manufacturers. It's like saying Ford, Chevy, and Dodge are selling more trucks than the Tacoma.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and love it. Had a Droid X before it. In the end, buy what you want. The comment about Droid people talking shit is hilarious cause most iphone owners I know do the same, and typically the ones that talk shit have no clue on why it's better, it just is because it says Apple on it.

I prefer the customization on Android myself. I wouldn't be completely against looking at the iphone one day, but they would have to give it a bigger screen. The comment about people needing a manpurse to carry their Android phone is completely retarded. There are Android phones equivalent in size to the iphone. Did it ever occur to you that people WANT a larger screen. iphone people always bust on the size because they only have one size, but I'd be willing to bet if there were a larger screen version lots of people would opt for that.

The iphone is fine if you want something out of the box that is easy and you don't care about customization. Hell someone at Apple I read one time described the iphone as a phone thats good for people intimidated by computers lol.

but if you are talking single manufacture, then yes, appple sold the most smartphones, but if you are talking software, then android is killing Ios in the smartphone market.
