Received my pioneer AVH-P2300DVD double din today and installed it, was kind of a pain but its done. I'm very happy with it, here are some pics. I haven't figured out what the deal is with the dvd feature. I'm getting audio but no video. Not too worried about that since I don't plan on watching movies anyway.

DVD issues may be caused by the ground wire. I had to install a switch in my ground wire to get the DVDs to play.

Cool, I already have a dash kit. I want to order it from Amazon since I have a $100 dollar gift card.

    Thanks,

Someone told me if I connected the parking brake wire to the chassis ground wire behind the deck, it should work. Anyone know of this?

Or use a relay if you don't want the switch. Just be careful the police don't stop you for over riding the safety net.

Im ok with it not working while I'm driving, I'd just like to get it fully functional.

I used that youtube video on my 3300BT. Worked like a charm.

I think I'm going to have to buy the steering wheel control adapter. I'm missing it more than I thought I would.
