    So the springs lift the truck which my stock springs can do but my shocks wont extend sothat the truck will sit higher? If using the stock springs to lift, the same springs have to take. Up the same amount of space plus 3 inches. To me this sounds like it would mean they would be softer as the same spring is compressed less. F=kx.
    Less upwards force applied by spring
