I've almost been the victim of other shooter's NDs three times in my life, 2 by the same person.

Don't worry, they only let him shoot howitzers now as a field artillery officer.

Oof, glad you're alive and well. Always always always eject the mag first. I've had an issue myself, but it was faulty equipment on a new 1911. Long story.
As to your issue, since most airbags are electrically controlled, and you did splice a harness, I'm wondering if your cc system has a worn or abraided wire which is grounding out through the frame with a damaged wire in your airbag assembly.

Did you find the slug itself? Did it embed in your vehicle or exit? If so, there may be something closer to the exit wound you don't realize you knicked...

@Toy Taco Turd Tom I had also lost function of cruise control as you described together with lost of brake lights and 3rd brake light. The culprit was this blue and white connector in the steering column, it became disconnected for some reason.6CAA0752-50C6-4E69-A258-21E1DFCDBC48.jpg

Why... There’s so much wrong here.
It’s a good thing no one was hurt due to your negligence. You say you’re into “firearm safety” but you aren’t. You’re the kind of person that doesn’t understand why people get pissed at you when you’re at the range. It doesn’t matter what magazine you have in it, you always remove the source of ammunition after ensuring it’s on safe. Then you check the chamber. Spend more time with your weapon system and you’ll feel and hear the difference when a round is chambered as well.

All that out of the way, I hope you get your truck fixed soon so you can drive yourself to a reputable firearms instruction course. Then again that won’t matter, as I’ve been around enough NDs to know that trained incompetent people will always be incompetent.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

This had so much potential if it was a troll thread, I’d be really disappointed in the OP for not taking it further.

Good heavens, it’s a .223/5.56. Not exactly known for its penetration on hard barriers. And that’s if the darned rifle actually fires.

if the bullet had struck where the so called powder burn on the jump seat is the plastic interior side panel would have a bullet hole or bullet damage, none are present in the pic at all
