Maybe where you park for work is the issue?

I would take it to a detailer and have them clean inside and out, including under the hood and engine bay.

Something in the vehicle is attracting them.

What are stink bugs attracted to?
There are a few reasons why a stink bug may have chosen your house as its new home. Stink bugs commonly feed on fruits. They have a preference for ripe fruit. If you happen to have ripe fruit in your garden, you might be sending out a dinner invite to a whole community of stink bugs. These insects also feed on native and ornamental trees, shrubs, vines and weeds.

This sounds like the most probable. If you take the front windshield gutter off, you'll see a big vent that's wide open when you set your HVAC to fresh air. It's why I set my truck to recirculate before I park at a camping spot...

Yep, there are flaps on the cabin vents that allow the air to blow them open. Something coming from the opposite way would need a lot of force or a tear or something to allow entry. Not saying a seal couldn’t be torn or jammed but it’s not very likely.

Look at all the pictures of mice in the hvac. If they can gain entry a stink bug sure can.

OP I would get some window screen and line the vent housing down in the window cowl. That’s your best bet

The HVAC system “vent” auto opens with key off. This is a changeable feature. OP, Might want to see if changing this feature will help.

This one time at band camp in my LOX tanker, early on a Monday morning. I headed out on my delivery route. About 2 miles down the highway I felt something crawling on my arm. And it was a lot of somethings...

Turns out a nest of spider eggs had hatched in the truck over the weekend... lil f*ckers were everywhere. Slammed on the brakes, and had a fellow employee run a lil vacuum out to me. Spent the better part of the morning removing hundreds of lil spiders.

I feel your pain. I went camping in PA, and had a ton of these little shit bugs. For 7 month I'd have one pop out from under the head liners. Parked the truck in the middle of the sun on a hot day, about 110 inside temp and no more bugs. I SWEAR to God after this post I see one more its your fault. Good luck Op

That's what I was going to suggest, heating the interior, treat it like its a bed bug infestation. It probably wouldn't be good on the important stuff but should kill all the critters inside.

I'm almost certain they were getting in from the HVAC fresh air vent. Found more in the cabin filter than anything. I saw them crawl out the vents and A pillars. Yes I rec hearing the interior to a Sauna temp.

Couple of things you can do:

    - clean everything with vacuum
    - run the a/c as much as you can the bugs don’t do well in dry environment.
    - light attracts them. Park in the dark
    - don’t store food in the truck.
    - they are harmless don’t smash them.

Maybe the bugs are just crawling up your legs, prior to entering the truck?...
