Why is that beached whale red? Was it a Valentine's Day prank?

We have 3 kids. Tacoma with 3 kids in the back is doable, but it's not comfortable. 3 child seats like in the vid above is fine, but if you have a combination of seats the room on each side can be a pain for them to buckle themselves. Things improve once 1 kids is out of booster all together. We had a Tundra before and while it was wider it was still a giant pain to get the kids sorted in there compared to the Odyssey we also have.

My personal preference would be something more usable for 3 kids for daily use.

    Loud as hell URD exhaust!
After owning 2 TRD's and financing parts that were later just removed, I went with the SR5 and couldnt be happier.

And for the cabin space 2 kids is the limit for the Tacoma. With 3 kiddos definetely go with a larger truck. Even with 2 kids and their accessories (diaper bags, backpacks etc.) it fills up quick...trust me.

    Rain Visors,
Well I pulled the trigger today. I went and the three fit ok, and the oldest will be out of the booster soon. I also only have all three for short runs here and there. We’ve got a sienna for that. Just happened to stop at a dealer by lunch today...C885574B-87C5-4348-A218-E69C21244B15.jpg

    Rain Visors,
Yea so far so good. The back was way bigger than I remember. And I honestly didn’t want to step up to a full size for the few times the kids my be cramped. They will survive

I wanted OR but once everyone said the sport was a more stiff suspension I was hooked

Small kids fit anywhere. I used to stuff two of them in car seats in the little jump seats in an 80s Porsche 911. My Taco is massive by comparison - and one of them is 6'2" tall now, the other 5'10" and they still fit in the back with room for one (good) friend in the middle. It's snug, but f**k them. The need to get somewhere. No one said it should be posh travel. If they want a minivan they can buy one for their own damn kids. I do what I want :)

Oh... get the OR 6MT. It's awesome. You don't need a locker but you will like the soft suspension on NJ roads and you get a locker that works instead of a hood scoop that doesn't. It's a good trade for the same money.

Plus, the TRDs already come with the tow package for your utility trailer so one less thing to add to the lower spec trucks.
