    Dudes,

So I took an off-road class this past weekend and I ripped off the rear wheel mud flaps. Upon replacing the mud flaps, I discovered I cannot mount the passenger side mud flap as the tailpipe is in the way. I drove home five hours and didn't notice any difference. Is it possible to bend back or is it a total muffler replacement? If so, what did you pay for your muffler replacement? Thanks!

Chop it off right past the rear axle and forget about it!

A muffler shop can bend it right back to where it belongs. Probably cost you $40.

Or can try DIY using a very long piece of pipe.

Yep. be thankful it didn't get wedged in between the tire and the fender wall. That happens if you back up with rocks behind you.

@Superdave1.0 advice is right. Stick a long pipe in there and get it right. But, I think @Steves104x4 may be right too... Wanna sell?

I only have 33k on this thing and it's nine years old. I really got to use all the 4WD features this past weekend and I think I'm going to turn it into an OR machine.

The only advice I have for you is simple. Fu#$ the exhaust. Enjoy the truck. DO NOT be like me and trade my nice as 2013 trd or for a 3rd gen. Or do it and remember this reply a year after.

See if it simply pulled out of the rubber hangers under there and/or grab and pull back - before you start cutting. Its back that far so fumes don't come up and into the cab.
