Skip identifying just load the file and straight to flash

Turn the truck off completely, and do it again

 

Trying now for 3rd time

 

Turn the truck completely off, wait 1-2 mins, turn truck back on, try again. It will work

I’ll drive around on 04B02 until 1.05 comes out.

Flashed ECU and TCU back to stock.

I am so damn relieved.

I followed all of the instructions for the TSB files. No clue why that didn’t work. It was working fine then bam, failure.

 

Of course I’m stupid to even try the TSB at home.

I’ll flash back to 1.04 likely tomorrow morning. I want to drive stock. First time since July 2017!

Actually I'm on v1.03 (never went to 1.04). But I was never brave enough to try the self-applied TSB after seeing several others crash and burn.

 

So weird to me how some of these ECUs or computers have such a hard time with the TSB flash, especially those who have tune kits and are able to successfully flash tunes. Glad everyone's ECUs seem to be OK though!

 

Completely agree. I was nervous doing the TSB, but when it was done I was like "that was it? Seems too easy."

 

Yeah I mean I figured I’ve ran every version of the tune. I ran diagnostics on techstream and had a solid connection. What could go wrong with flashing the TSB? Oh.. it did go wrong.

Since I know that it can be recovered, I might try the TSB again. But probably not. @OVTune will be mad if he found out.

 

So how long until you try again?
