Well, in an effort to enhance my man cave (garage), I decided to spend a little money on a garage door and ditch the sliding wood door that is currently on it. I have had several long bed Dodges in the past and have had no use for them, go figure that I buy a DC Short Bed Tacoma and haul something that is over 16 feet long. However, after 3 ratchet straps, a tow rope, a bungee cord, and some twine...not to mention a 65 mile trip, hazards on...I made it home. Just thought Id share it with ya guys and see if ya had any similar pics or experiences with such :D

Found my tacoma to be quite useful!

Shiiiit, I would of butted it against the tailgate and leaned it up over the cab. With a few straps that's how haul my 16ft extension ladder but I have a standar bed.

I had the tailgate up at first, but the way in which the door panels sat made it hard to safely secure the ratchet straps across the body of it...Did consider putting them on the roof and running ratchet straps through my window...ha

Honestly, I almost considered not driving it, but had my bro with me who stuck himself out the window the whole ride home making sure everything was in check. AFter we got home we unratched straps one by one. Even with the one strap and some twine, it was surprisingly holding strong.

Even passed two cops on the way home...

Haha funny you bring that up about people holding onto shit out the window. Theres a local junk yard called Pull A Part, everytime I leave that place I see somebody holding a hood on the top of the car. I shit you not, the one time they had an actual engine on the top of a 1997 Chevy Cavalier, and when I say top I mean on the actual roof. Crazy shit ive ever seen.
