I think it’s too big.

I got this 270 awning for a bargain. Thing is like 8ft long, and my rack is 5ft long.

I can’t put a bed rack coz I carry tall cargo.

Thoughts?
Sell?

 

Yeah, too big. Looks to be unstable while driving on the freeways.

 

Plus how the hell are you going to utilize a 270° awning mounted there? You'll either be covering your bed or your cab/hood when deployed depending which way it opens. Kinda defeats the point of the 270° giving you extra space...

 

What all does it cover when extended? I run a 6ft straight awning on mine.

 

I’m planning or well hoping that it will cover the bed and a bit of the tail gate.
So I can use it while I’m using the tail gate as a work bench.
