    I literally see this beige 1st gen at the Acme everyday; I think the owner must work either at the Acme or at the Starbucks you see in the background...

    This is actually a pretty sweet truck. It is a base (non-SR5) model with A/C and automatic... It also has tilt wheel and intermittent wipers (I'm guessing the int. wipers were added later?)...

    And then a guy who works at my friend's cheesesteak place damn near STOLE this beige 2006 access cab RWD!

    The truck is a base model, so it does NOT have intermittent wipers. However, it does have automatic, A/C, cruise control (cruise control but no int. wipers? WTF?), and power windows/locks/mirrors. The truck is from Georgia so it is rust-free (no frame issues here!), and it has only 130K miles on the odometer! The A/C is ICE COLD and everything on the truck works perfectly. The guy got it for less than $6,000!

    Just encountered the weirdest, and possibly unfriendliest Tacoma owner ever...

    I'm at the Acme right now as I write this, on my iPhone. I saw a silver 2nd gen like mine (Reg cab 2WD auto in Silver Streak Mica;albeit 2005-2008 model in pretty rough shape) with a trailer containing a lawnmower. I parked next to the truck with the intention of snapping a couple pics with my iPhone before going inside. I see this Taco driving around Doylestown on an almost daily basis, and I think the owner uses it for a landscaping business...

    Before I even get out of my Taco, I see a guy I'm pretty sure is the owner approaching with two bags of groceries. He sees my truck next to his and gets this indescribable look on his face...

    I get out of my truck and ask, very politely and cheerfully "is that yours?"

    He says "Nope."

    Confused, I say "Really?"

    He looks at my Taco and says "Is that yours?"

    I say "Yeah. What year is yours?"

    He says "1942."

    I say "Mine's... a... 2010...?" (He is completely ignoring me at this point and just shuts his door and starts the engine)

    He then drives off, at least being careful not to turn my truck into a carbon copy of his with that trailer.

    I DID NOT EVEN GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE PICS OF HIS TRUCK SO AS FAR AS I KNOW HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT'S WHAT I WAS PLANNING TO DO...

    I don't know if this guy is unfriendly, has mental problems, or just has a very dry sense of humor...
