I think it's pretty cool when other Tacomas park near each other

Went to a client out at the airport.

Parked. Went in. Fixed some stuff.

    Came out.

    Found this. Smiled.

I purposefully parked next to another Taco in the Home Depot parking lot today (way in the back away from everyone else of course). Came out to see that another Taco had parked there too :) I should have taken a picture.

So, I get a client 'field' call...I have to go visit a small law office and title company and troubleshoot a wiring issue with the phone system.

No prob. I finish up and walk outside and see...

Nice...matching red! Maybe if I water mine a bit more, feed it some miracle grow...

Anyhow, down to the airport for another field call, this one wifi related. Get that dialed in, and I come outside and find...the ultra-rare trifecta!

Getting a lotto ticket on my way home tonight now...never seen all three cab types, both gens, all in one random parking pic...

It would be very hard for me to contribute a photo of my tacoma parked next another one. I life in a GM town in a rustbelt Midwestern state. Recent article in the local paper told of how Chevy rules here, the GM/Chevy midsized the most popular by large. Everyone & his shirt-tail relative gets a GM discount, and the trucks seem cheaper than Tacomas in any event- important as we are all economically challenged here. Rangers are next most popular, and F150 are everywhere.

I sometimes hear from friends about buying American made vehicles. You all know my answer to that silly statement. I just offer to haul thier rigs to the junkyard in ten years.

I have enjoyed the photos, though! Most of you take much better pics than I can.

That's when you open your driver's door and show them that your Taco was made in Texas

No picture, but fellow user PS78 and I drove the same route for about six or seven miles through Denver last week. Wasn't sure if it was him or not (we parked next to each other at a Kings Soopers a few months ago), but sure enough I get home to see message in my inbox.

So I guess this would be more appropriate in a "I think it's pretty cool when Tacomas drive next to each other, and they happen to be members of Tacoma World." thread.

Show them this too when you want to "buy american":
    http://www.nhtsa.gov/staticfiles/rulemaking/pdf/AALA/2012_AALA_Percent_Rev3.pdf

It's ironic how the Toyota Avalon is the most American car you can buy right now.

Also, since Tacomas are made in texas now. They should start sticking something on there similar to what they put on the tundra
