I think it's pretty cool when other Tacomas park near each other

Me and a group of 5 good friends attempted to backpack and summit Mt. Whitney @ 14,500 ft. here in CA. The thunderstorms were so violent and dangerous by the time we made it to the base portal camp, we took a vote and adventured elsewhere. This is after a few $$$ spent on gear, 3-4 months of training, entering and being selected through a lottery for a permit. We continued our adventure 300 miles west and camped along the CA coastline for the remaining 3 days.

Day 3 Alternate Plans - Severe Thunderstorms w/ Lightning kept us off the mountain...so we drove 300 miles East to the coast & camped out.

If I pull into a parking lot and I don't see any other Tacoma's anywhere in sight to park next to I generally just leave the parking lot and go find another one.

 

Fixed it for you. Sorry, major pet peeve that I see all the time.

I recently moved to a new office. I don't use my Tacoma as a DD, but today had to run some errants so I needed to drive it for a change. I parked at the office (first one there this morning) and when I came out later I found it had attracted a crowd. Must be the sexiness...

How do you get away without the front plate on your truck? CA has been pretty strict about that the last few years. Sweet looking truck

I was pulling out of a parking lot and at the same time a guy in a super white dblc TRD OR (I drive a super white AC base) was pulling in and he slowed down and out down his window and said "Nice truck" hahah. Respect in the Taco world.

Found this stock Tacoma next to me after leaving the gym a few days ago:

 

Didn't grab a photo, but just made a quick run to the Home Depot and saw a DCLB Pyrite Mica SR5 at the end of the lot. Naturally, I parked next to it. Got out of the store and the guy was at his truck and told me he wanted to pickup a set of running boards and tonneau for his because he liked the looks of them on mine.

He was behind me most of the way home, so I think he's the one I see every few days.

There's one totally identical to mine that I saw a couple times...TRD Sport around the same year...haven't had the opportunity to park next to him yet.

 

If parking next to another Tacoma amuses people so much to have a thread this big I wish I had your simple lives. Seriously to think its cool to park next to another Tacoma must lead a simple easy life Im jealous

 

Maybe some of us are busy/stressed enough to find a little joy in something simple enough as parking next to an auto bud.

 

I know I have had one of my most stressful and toughest years and I think it's pretty cool parking next to a another Taco. I think we all watch where we park because we don't want to find a nice door ding by some jack ass that doesn't give a crap about there car.
