I think it's pretty cool when other Tacomas park near each other

Saw this at a local Walmart. Not a TW member, but certainly a nice access cab and a nice 4 Wheeler in the back. My Tacoma is the left... In case that wasn't clear.. cf32095008f58fba95b1179ed3f2ace4_187e6cc1c2203e0b85cceef60ce3d7e8c748c115.jpg

... about which one is the real Off Road vehicle capable of the two. The factory issued "OFF ROAD" one looks like a car compared to lifted truck.

If you can't read the inference from pics and text, you must be blind or brain dead.

Mine has been Mall Rated and tested. It's certified.

    You funny.

Gosh, I totally should have been able to infer that from the incredibly descriptive and detailed post of "Beside a stock TRD Off Road / Kinda makes you wonder".
    How profound.

You've got a heavily customized vehicle with lift and big tires parked next to a stock truck.
There's many possibilities we could have been wondering about.
'What kind of a mileage penalty accompanies that sort of customization?'
'How does the ride suffer or improve from suspension modifications and an altered tire size like that?'
'What's the guy with the bigger truck compensating for?'
'Who puts Tripletreds on a truck?'
'I wonder when the last time was that either of those trucks went off-pavement'
'I wonder how much extra horsepower that guy gets from putting eyeliner on his headlights'

Apologies for not realizing that you were comparing the off road prowess of a vehicle that came stock from the factory (and therefore a compromise designed to appeal to the majority of the public rather than the enthusiast) with one that was purpose-built to be off-road capable.
I'll try to correct my blind ignorance for any future posts.

    :notsure:

I guess that we must be doomed to be 'blind or brain dead' together.
