Take it to the dealer, there may be a TSB for that. Worst case scenario you may have to stat using that small metal thing called accelerator.

Yeah you're fucked, Toyota will say this is normal...

On a serious note, my bone stock Sport with Tonneau and summer gas was averaging this as well. Now with no chin strap, KO-bros and no Tonneau (use it to keep snow out and skis protected in winter), I am getting 21's to 22's on summer gas.

Guess my truck is broken as well :annoyed:

Driving between Fort Worth and Dallas every morning and evening, I have made the discovery that there's a direct inverse correlation between the truck milage and my personal mood. If I'm grouchy I average about 18. If I'm really pissed, 15.

This week, both of my bosses were on vacation. Coincidence?

How in the hell are you all getting over 20?
I've only seen a max of 18. Maybe that's because its Boston and the drivers suck here, who knows.

I got that high of MPG once, but I had to work for it. I usually get 23.

I would totally trade your 3rd gen in on a Jeep or Ranger. Then you will know what broken is.
