    It should work....I don't know why it says 01, usually it's 95-04

    There werent any suspension changes with the 1st gens between facelifts soooo....

    Yes it will fit. The only suspension changes in 1st Gen trucks happened from 97 to 98 and it was the rear leaf springs (from shorter Hilux springs to the 'true' Tacoma ones).
