My loved 2018 SR5 is likely toast. Guy made a left right into me while I was going through the intersection on a green light ~ 35 mph. Maybe 5 air bags deployed. I have some bruises and cuts but walked away just fine - thank you crumple zones. What do you think - totaled?? Pics are crap from the fence.

Wow. Could have been a lot worse. Luck was on your side. The bright side is the 4th gen off-road looks promising

typically airbag deployment indicates severe forces, so the insurance doesn't want to repair it for reasons of liability--things got hit hard, and they can't ensure that something else that seems unrelated wouldn't be jostled wrong by that.

it's a good possibility, really just depends on your states total-out percentage requirements.

Well today is complete. An oil thread and an "is it totaled" thread. Not to mention that you started 2 of these.

Probably totalled especially with the air bags going off. Dang and similar color. Everything in the front of my old truck was toast. Radiators, fenders, front frame sections, body mounts, all the bracketry behind the grille and more! Airbags didn't go off though and I didn't even get a scratch on me :muscleflexing::sorry:

... and what is the best A/T tire to put on my totaled 3rd gen, the best gen, that I change the oil every 3k, 5k, 10k and never miles. I'm looking for the perfect mix of superswamper and Michelin highway tire.

The Rixxu seat cover did allow the air bag to go off BUT limited it some. And my right forearm does have a decent bruise. You can see the strap which interfered with the airbag.
