I thought I went overboard until I saw what my wife made

After 16 years iny old Tacoma, I think I'm having too much fun with the '24 I bought a couple of weeks ago. I needed new "super fast" charging cables for the front and for the kids in the back. I found cables thatatched the metallic blue accent color. I felt I went overboard until I got home last night. My wife said I needed microfiber cloth to keep my screen clean. She not only used a gray suede to match the interior, she used her embroidery machine to stitch a TRD logo in matching blue. She evemade a loop to hang on the bag hook. I'm not someone who usually coordinates everything, but I thinks I've created a monster. LOL.

 

And that folks, is how RyGuy started his own Etsy business.

 

Lol. Not enough time in the world, unfortunately. She just does personal stuff.

That's a great idea. I hadn't thought of that yet. I'm still working on learning all of the technology updates in the last 16 years. Lol. I'll get to ordering stuff soon.

I’ve put them on every phone I’ve had for the last 10 years and have never damaged a screen, so it only makes sense to put it on a vehicle that costs 50x the price. Unfortunately, I’ve never used this brand before, so will report back on quality / ease of install.

 

After 22 years, she's still a keeper.

 

I was thinking the same thing when you posted that link. I wouldn't have a phone without it either. I can't imagine how expensive the screen is to replace. I use my truck too so it'll be a worth while purchase.

 

Same. Had to look up anniversary date, only at 13. I don’t feel bad though because the Mrs has to do the same. Time flies.

 

It does fly by pretty quick. I remembered because I asked what the steaks in the fridge were for, and she said for anniversary dinner in 2 days. We just bought each other a ridiculously expensive truck, so the gift is all set. Lol

 

Lol. That's hilarious. Sounds like you've got a good one too. I took my wife on the purchase because she's a pitbull at negotiating with car dealers. I tend to see what I like and say "ok, if that's how much it costs".

 

Always bring her along!.... and get into a fake fight in the negotiations about purchasing it where it results in YOU leaving the premises, leaving them alone with her. They hate that: Scares them to death... even the hard-core veterans because they know the hard-core maniac sales manager is going to go nuts and yell at everyone, because the General Manager just yelled at >him/her<.
