Actually, I received mine today and it certainly seems substantial enough. Hose has very close corrugations at the ends to prevent kinking, the longer orange hose in the car cleaning kit is pretty stout. Crevice tool is flexible to reach into tight spots. I'm happy with it but you don't have to buy one.

That's a great vac, I have one and the orange extension tube is a killer free addon. I paid something like $30-$40 for that orange tube as an extra because it's super flexible and has nearly zero static electricity buildup vs the black plastic hose

It's a decent deal. I think I paid around $80 for a 6 gallon and then another $40 for the car cleaning kit a while back. The car cleaning kit is basically a must

Yes, the one in the first post, you can buy it separately. Although I don't remember it being $50 when I purchased it.

I use it with a different shop vac just about every week cleaning up after my dog. They claim that orange hose is 4x more durable than a normal vac hose. I'm not sure about that but it's definitely the best part of the kit. Plus all the accessories it's a great little setup.

Seems like a lot for what you get, I’ll just book mark it and buy when there’s a sale
